Prof (Dr.) Anand Agrawal is currently working as a Professor & Head in the Department of Respiratory Medicine at BPSGMC(W) KK Sonepat, PBDS University of health sciences Rohtak, Haryana (India). In 2007, He worked as a senior resident at Rajan Babu Institute of Pulmonary Medicine, Kingsway Camp Delhi. He is a member of the Medical education unit of his institute and conducted various educational workshops and lectures. Fellow of medical education(2016A Batch) (ACME) from CMC Ludhiana, Vice chairman of DR-TB site committee, Member of the scientific review committee of KCGMC Karnal, Clinical Incharge COVID 19 of the Institute since 2020, Nodal officer NTEP BPSGMC, besides this life member of FNCCP  (Fellow & Life Member of  National college of chest Physician), MIAB (Life member of Indian Association for Bronchology), MISCCM (Life member of Indian society of critical care medicine), MICS(Life member of Indian chest society), MERS (Life Member of European Respiratory Society), Life Member of Indian sleep disorder association (MISDA), State Head CCI ( Chest council of India), Member Expert of ethical committee NMC.

Dr. Anand also reviews manuscripts for various journals, including BMC Pulmonary Medicine, Lung India International Journal of Mycobacteriology, SQUMJ, PSF, HJCH, SM Preventive Medicine and Public Health, an editorialMemberr of EC: Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine, SM Tuberculosis Research and Treatment, Journal of Cardiothoracic Medicine, SM Preventive Medicine and public health, International Journal of Pulmonary and Respiratory sciences, Pulmonology case reports – Annals of clinical case studies, Pulmonary and Respiratory Medicine; Open assess, Journal of Pulmonology and Respiratory Disorder, Medical, and Research Publication, Guide of many ICMR funded STS projects as well as co-guide of PG students, organizing chairman of  State conference COLDCON 2020 under the aegis of Indian chest society & Chest council of India and various other social awareness programs, Guest speaker & chaired the session in various zonal/national conferences of the community. 

He completed his medical graduation from GSVM Medical College CSJMU Kanpur in 2003 and completed his post-graduation through MLN Medical College, University of Allahabad.

Dr. Anand Agrawal’s clinical and research interests are in Critical care and  Intensive Pulmonary Medicine, Interventional Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep-related disorders, Bronchial Asthma/Allergy & Immunology, Occupational Lung diseases, COPD/Tuberculosis/Fungal infection of the lung, Lung cancers, and Medical education.

 

He has published in more than  41 +  National / International peer-reviewed/indexed journals.

He has co-authored more than 25 papers and posters presented at National /zonal conferences.
