Abstract: The "N of One" method, also known as single-subject design or single-case research, has emerged as a valuable approach to investigating the principles and practices of Chinese medicine. This thesis explores the unique contributions of the "N of One" method in Chinese medicine research, emphasizing its ability to unveil individualized treatment approaches tailored to the specific needs of patients. This thesis delves into applying the "N of One" method in various aspects of Chinese medicine, including herbal prescriptions, acupuncture, and other therapeutic modalities, through a comprehensive review of relevant literature, case studies, and clinical trials.
